Emily Crutcher T’06 is a recipient of the H. Keith Brunnemer, Jr. Scholarship, and she’s not shy about saying thanks. While Duke updates scholarship donors each year on award recipients and endowment performance, students often want to thank donors first-hand. Emily is an international comparative studies major focusing on the Middle East and Western Europe. When she studied abroad in Lebanon and Germany, she sent photos and postcards, and over the years, she has kept Keith Brunnemer abreast of her academic plans. “His scholarship means so much to me. I want him to know who he’s helping.”
