Duke Reunions 2015

More than 4,100 alumni and friends – the highest number of attendees in history – came back to campus April 17-19 to celebrate Duke Reunions 2015, and it was an especially good time!

We can’t think of anything better than spending a sunny weekend reacquainting with old friends, making new ones, and reliving memories at place that is special to so many Duke alumni. If you joined us at Reunions Weekend, we hope your experience was unforgettable.  We loved seeing so many friends gather to celebrate their mutual love for Duke.

This year, the Office of Gift Planning was pleased to host two receptions and a seminar:

  • The Half Century Club Reunion Reception – Friday, April 17
  • 50th Reunion Reception – Friday, April 17
  • Seminar: 3 Ways to Make the Most of your Finances through Philanthropy in 2015 and Beyond – Saturday, April 17

We had a wonderful time at these events and so did the attendees. Take a look at some of our photos below!

Our Gift Planning seminar entitled, 3 Ways to Make the Most of your Finances through Philanthropy in 2015 and Beyond, had a great turnout. Jeremy Arkin, Director of Gift Planning, and Anne Sherman ’94, Associate Director of Gift Planning, discussed creative charitable ways to support Duke while accomplishing other personal and financial goals. It was a stimulating event with a lively discussion by the attendees.

If you are interested in receiving the program materials from the presentation, please contact us. We would be delighted to share this information with you.

We were grateful to be a part of this year’s Reunions Weekend, and we enjoyed connecting with friends of the university. Thank you for all you have done for Duke – and to all those who generously donated to their class gift this reunion.

And, be sure to save the date for your next class reunion!
