What is Seniors for Duke?
Donations to the Senior Gift support the Duke Annual Fund, which provides operating dollars to programs across the university. Annual Fund gifts help pay for financial aid grants, technology upgrades, faculty salaries, service-learning projects, research stipends, curricular enhancements, and much more.
Seniors are encouraged to make a gift $20.17 in honor of their graduation year. Start saving at the beginning of the year, and little by little you will have that $20.17. Remember, all gifts are welcome and much appreciated - $5, $10, $15, or even higher!
Seniors who give $100 or more to the Duke Annual Fund are eligible for membership in the Student Leadership Society. Learn more about the Student Leadership Society.
How will the money be used?
You decide! You can designate your individual gift to any of Duke's 10 schools or to the Duke Chapel, the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, the Marine Lab, the Nasher Museum of Art, or the University Libraries.
Does everyone give?
Last year, gifts from nearly 59,000 Annual Fund donors added up to just over $36 million in vital support for the university. These gifts came from alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends of Duke.
