Formerly known as the Young Alumni Peer Networks, Young Alumni for Duke is designed to engage Duke’s last four graduating classes across the globe.
This dedicated group of volunteers is passionate about giving back to Duke. They believe in Duke, and they encourage their classmates to support the greatest needs of the university through Annual Fund donations.
Gifts to the 16 Annual Fund designations across campus allow deans and directors to say "yes" to innovative programs, faculty research projects, and hands-on learning opportunities. These funds help pay for financial aid awards, student research projects, summer internship stipends, exhibitions at the Nasher, repairs in the chapel, and so much more.
Gifts of all sizes add up. That’s how an annual fund works! It takes thousands of donors giving what they can to help Duke cover the many costs that simply aren’t met by tuition income and other sources of revenue.
- Young Alumni for Duke volunteers are expected to make a personal Annual Fund donation to Duke.
- After training via conference call and regular informational email communications, Young Alumni for Duke volunteers are asked to solicit at least 10 of their peers for gifts to Duke's Annual Fund.
